The fourth category is called Variety. It is a measure of how many different types of exercises you individually did over the course of the week. The vast majority of Exercise Types only count for 1 Variety point. There are a few exceptions though. For example, "Crossfit" and "Bootcamp" are worth two Variety points. This is because those Exercise Types include multiple types of exercises, by definition. For example, a Crossfit class always includes "Lifting / Bodyweight" as well as either "Running", "Biking" or "Rowing".

As an example, consider the following week of exercises:

  • Monday: 24 sets of Lifting / Bodyweight
  • Wednesday: 30 minutes of Running
  • Friday: 20 sets of Lifting / Bodyweight
  • Saturday: 60 minutes of Crossfit

This week would result in 4 Variety points: 1 Variety point for Lifting / Bodyweight    +   1 Variety point for Running   +   2 Variety points for Crossfit.

Important note: Variety is an individual metric. So in team games, like Pairs, you are not penalized for repeating Exercise Types also performed by your partner.
